Ike Merkus Obituary

Ike Merkus - Passed away at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Wednesday April 7th, 2021. Ike will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Norma, step-son Will Lemay (Sacramento), daughter Courtney Briggs (Almonte), Michael Lemay-Merkus (Ottawa) and youngest son Jake at home. Dear grandfather of Emmaleigh and Jaycee Illingworth (Almonte). Dear Uncle of Joshua Cundall (Lefroy) and Adam and Nick Caldwell of Barrie. Brother-in-law of Kim and Kelly Briggs. Son of the late Grace and Ike Merkus. He will also be very missed by his dog Carlos. A Celebration of Life for Ike will be held at a later date.
