James Edgar Johnson, 72, of Lisle, ON, died on July 17th, 2025. Affectionately called Jymbo by his friends and family, he was born in Kingston Ontario. His father James William (Joan Elizabeth) was a corporal in the Army and so when he was posted to CFB Borden in the 60’s the family moved there and settled in the surrounding area. Jim Johnson was a gifted carpenter, loved playing flag football, and fishing at the cottage. He married Elizabeth Grace Parry of Barrie, ON (d. September 18 2011). He is survived by his two children; Akiva (Shirah) and Sara, six grandchildren; Asher, Noam, Halleli, Zachy, Asher David, and Yonah, as well as his five siblings John (Maxine), Judy, Jeff (Candy), Jerry (Denise), and Joanne (Randy). He is loved and remembered by his many nieces and nephews, friends who are like family, his church, and just about everyone who ever saw the twinkle in his blue eyes.
There will be a celebration of life in his honour in Everett ON August 2nd, 2026
