Joseph Reginald Lorenzo Maillet

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Reginald Lorenzo Maillet on February 2nd, 2025 at the age of 82. He was born on April 10,1942 in Saint-Louis de Kent, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his mother Rita Sonier (Maillet) on October 23, 2012. He is survived by his two sons Daniel Maillet and James Maillet. Lorenzo (Lonzo, Joseph) moved from Saint John New Brunswick to Mississauga in 1977 and raised his family in Ontario. He later relocated to Simcoe County, Ontario in 1986 and spent the remainder of his life living in Alliston.

He was a fun spirited soul with an enormous heart and had a wonderful sense of humor. He had a love for music and would spend his recreational time playing guitar and bowling in recreational leagues with friends. His greatest joy came from making many memories spending time with family on vacations, camping, fishing and golfing.

There are several nieces, nephews and extended family members that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
