Kenneth Morris

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Kenneth Morris, aged 78, on April 7th, 2025. Ken was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, whose love for his family was immeasurable. Ken’s passion for cabinet making and his generosity to people will always be remembered. Ken was outgoing and loved the outdoors, spending his time at his cottage on Anstruther Lake in the Kawarthas, where he enjoyed fishing and bonfires with his family and friends, the memories he made will never be forgotten. He was the cherished son of Stephen Morris and Helen Morris (Spring). He leaves behind his beloved wife, Geraldine, with whom he shared 56 years, and their two children, Timothy and Charlene, Daughter-in-law Natalie; grandchildren Branden, Christopher and Carley, great grandson Maverick, who were his pride and joy. Ken also loved travelling with Geraldine, especially their trips throughout Europe and across the Caribbean, cherishing the adventures they shared together over the years.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible and dedicated staff at The Carriage House Retirement Residence, in Oshawa for their outstanding care and support.

Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring Ken’s memory on Saturday at Paul F Kent Funeral Home, Cookstown, 16 King St N, on Saturday, April 12th, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for visitation, followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to Follow
