Lucretia "Lou" Randell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lucretia (Lou) Randell at Whispering Pines Retirement Home, Barrie on Saturday December 6th, 2025. Lou will be greatly missed by her children Cheryl Fowler, Perry Tripp, Nancy Wake, (son in-law Ken Wake), Stephen Randell (daughter in-law Gaby Randell). grandchildren Ashley and Kenny Ram, Taylor and Brandon Wake, Ryan and Amber Randell, Shannon Antonio and great granddaughter Felicity Wood.


Lou was predeceased by her husbands Philip Tripp and Herb Randell, Lou is survived by her loving sisters Esther Tyrrell, Cindy Blondin and numerous nieces and nephews. Lou loved her church St George's Anglican in Barrie, her many church friends and Father Ken. One week before her passing Lou happily participated at the annual church Christmas bazaar selling her jams and preserves with daughter Nancy and granddaughter Taylor.


Our family wishes to acknowledge the caring staff and residents at Whispering Pines Retirement Home where Lucretia resided the last 3 months of her life.

A Memorial Funeral Service will be held Saturday January 3rd, 2026, at St George's Anglican Church (9 Granville St, Barrie, ON L4N 3K1) at 1:00 p.m.

If desired in lieu of flowers, donations in Lou’s memory can be made to St. Georges Anglican Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
