Margo Florence (Phippen) Robinson

Margo Florence Robinson (nee Phippen), aged 79, of Cookstown, passed away October 19 at home with her daughter, Jacqueline, by her side, after a long battle with vascular dementia. Margo was born September 27, 1945, to Margery (nee Spindler) and Gordon Phippen in North York. She married Hugh Robinson (deceased) in 1965, and is survived by their 3 children and their spouses, Jacqueline Robinson and Dave Pretty, Wayne and Susan Robinson and Scott Robinson and Karina Fuentes Robinson. Margo will also be remembered with great love by her four grandchildren: Ethan and Emily- Scarlett Robinson; and Kaleb (Valeska) and Olivia Gilbert. Margo was an avid collector, decorator and gardener throughout her life, as well as an active member of the Richmond Hill and Cookstown business communities where she ran a trucking company with her husband and an antique store.

A celebration of Margo’s life will take place November 16, 2024, at Cookstown Library and Community Centre, 20 Church Street, Cookstown, Ontario, L0L 1L0 at 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
