Sheila Cooper

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sheila Cooper, on January 6, 2026 at the age of 92.  Born in Cudworth, West Yorkshire, England to James and Ivy Bailey, she dedicated her life to raising two daughters, (Christine and Tina) on her own.  Sheila was known for her sense of humour, stylish dressing and love of family.  She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Robert), grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) and Andrew (Paula) and great grandchildren, Jayda, Harper, Abigail and Poppy. 

A bench dedication for Sheila and her daughter Christine, is planned at Gull Lake Rotary Park, Gravenhurst. 

A cremation has already taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a future date.
