Wight, Theresa Kathleen (nee Holloway)

After a short illness, Theresa, in her 95th year, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 12th at home, with family members at her side. Her family had the opportunity to say their goodbyes in those last few days. Predeceased by her husband Charles, her sister Mary (Pat), brothers Peter (Anne), Dave and John Patrick. Born in Toronto, she moved with her husband Charles and son Douglas to their farm in Innisfil in 1952. She loved being together with her family and friends, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her many dogs and cats. She always enjoyed a three-cream two-sugar coffee, teen burgers, onion rings, and she had a sweet tooth for desserts.  Theresa always looked forward to her weekly swims with friends, and her monthly luncheons. She will be dearly missed by her children Doug, Jim (Pierce), Brian (Cathy), Debra (Bill), Karen (Dave), and (Elfie); 12 grandchildren: Heather (Dennis), Mark (Tania), Erin (Steph), Jeffrey (Ryan), Matthew (Sheena), Cheryl (Ryan), Andrew (Sarah), Kimberly (Tony), Kevin, Ashley (Michael), Trevor, and Ryan (Erin); 14 great grandchildren: Brennen, Kian, Shayna, Neven, Natalie, Jackson, Declan, Ethan, Liam, Alexander, Kyle, William, Nathan, and Oliver; her brothers, Jim, George (Liz), sister Sharon (Rory), sister in law Joan (Dave), nieces and nephews, cousins, and close friends. A special thank you to Dr. Stuart Murdoch.
