Victoria Mary Aileen Hurst

It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Victoria Mary Aileen Hurst of Cookstown in her 72nd year on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Matthews House, Alliston. Predeceased by husband Brian (2020 & 50 years of marriage) 

Loving mother of Ryan (Aeisha) and Shannon McComb (Gaelan) 

Loving grandmother of Duke.  

Loving sister of Valda Northey, Donnalynn Fitsell (John). 

Loving niece to Don James (predeceased) (Marilynne), Mary MacLaren (predeceased) (Dan) and Wilton James (Joy)

Loving Aunt to Michael Hurst (Robin), Carolyn Tucker (Harry), Nikki Fitsell (Diago), Michelle Baxter (Aaron) Jenny Northey, Julie Dietrich (Alex).

Predeceased by grandparents Morley & Mary James, brother and sister-in-laws Bruce & Barb Hurst and by aunts and uncles Maria James, Morley James (Joyce), Dorothy La Fave (Dave), Bob James (Betty). 

Loved by many other extended family and friends. 

A visitation will be held at the Paul F Kent funeral Home, (Hwy 27 N) Cookstown on Saturday April 1st from 1-4 p.m.

A private family service will be held at a future date at Cookstown United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Victoria’s memory to Matthews House Hospice, Alliston would be appreciated by the family.
